Cleaning methodology
Sub-floor Plenum
- Raised floor surfaces are HEPA vacuumed to remove loose particulates
- Floor tiles are lifted for access to underfloor plenum. (Note: structural integrity of flooring and safety precautions are considered when choosing number and location of tiles.)
- Large debris and contaminants are manually removed.
- Subfloor slabs are wiped clean to remove fine dust
- Floor stringers, pedestal heads and large mechanical components are HEPA vacuumed and wiped clean
- Perforated tiles are cleaned and replaced
- Report on condition of underfloor plenum is provided
- Hardware devices are not moved and special attention is given to data cabling, electrical connections sensors and detectors
